KickMaker

KickMaker is a synthesizer designed specifically to create good kick drum sounds. It uses four independent oscillators and a wide range of effects, allowing one to create perfectly customized beats. KickMaker is the perfect solution for producers who are tired of using factory samples or ordinary drum machines, and want an easy way to create a wide range kicks for their tracks.

You can download the latest and greatest version of KickMaker directly from the download panel on the right hand side of this page.  Or, to see the complete list of downloads, visit the KickMaker downloads page at github.

The source code for this plugin can be found in the KickMaker repository on the Teragon Audio github page.

Where can i register?

KickMaker is free -- you shouldn't need to register. If you are being asked for registration, that means either that you have downloaded an old version of the plugin. Have you tried downloading the most recent version from our website? What platform are you using?

where do i put the source code?

Nik Reiman said...

@Anonymous if you are trying to build KickMaker by hand, you can put the source code anywhere you like, and just load the project file provided (either VS or Xcode is required, depending on your platform). If you are simply trying to *run* the plugin, you should download the binary provided in the "Software Downloads" part of the page off to the right.

where do i get the presets

Nik Reiman said...

@Anonymous, the presens should be bundled with the plugin itself. However, I have made the presets available as a separate download here:

@hollis, sorry to hear that KickMaker is not behaving nicely for you. I have not noticed any MIDI sync problems myself. What host/OS are you using?
